November 2, 2007. The Administration at the University of Lethbridge has ordered Religious Studies Professor Tom Robinson to remove his website, www.onebananashort.org, from the internet. When Dr. Robinson refused to do so the Dean of Arts and Science, Dr. Chris Nicol, initiated a disciplinary proceeding against the U of Lethbridge Faculty member for “gross professional misconduct.” The matter raises fundamental issues of academic freedom.
